Rift Valley Fever and Peste des Petits are diseases affecting livestock and wildlife of Kenya. RVF has the capability of moreover infecting humans, illustrating the importance of controlling the disease. Vaccinations against RVF and PPR exist, but administrations to pastoral animals are difficult due to constant nomad movement and vaccination costs. In this study I investigated the potency and efficiency of multivalent vaccination with both PPR and RVF vaccines, which is the first step in the potential combination of one combined vaccine.
