8. Happy Birthday Carro! 🎁

Today Carro had her 24th birthday 🎉🎊 We celebrated by ordering some requested food delivery, watching series and eating some fika and snacks 😋

We started the day by going to ILRI at about 10.30 in the morning. The road leading up to ILRI (Naivasha road) is one of the worst ones in the areas. It is completely broken, and still there is insane amount of traffic on it between 6.30-10.30, and then again from 15.00 and onwards until the night. These are usually the times when kids are being dropped or picked up from school. If anyone is curious about school uniforms they do use them here. One dress code per school so that the students from different schools can be distinguished from one another. We stayed at ILRI only for a few hours today before walking to an apartment showcasing across the street from work, we will attend another one tomorrow.

While visiting the nearby mall we bought some local fruit. Upper most one is obviously water melon, then just below to the right are two pears, underneath them four tangerines, the two most left ones are ripe oranges and the odd one in the middle is an apple mango.
